"...and the home of the brave!!!" PLAY BALL!

Last night I got to go to Bark @ the Park! The Lincoln Saltdogs have it every year---and my mom's work, Kenl Inn, had a booth. . . we got to meet all of the fans & their dogs, hand out flyers & free coupons & meet all kinds of cool people & puppies!! There were quite a few good 'ole boys who stopped to talk about huntin' with English Setters :)
I got to meet-n-greet Homer, the Saltdog mascot, boy was he a Big Dog!! (here I am trying not to make eye contact with his BIG EYES) And my poodle-brother got to be on the big screen!!
They had all kinds of neat "games" during the game---these boys got to run in giant hamster balls & knock down bowling pins! (Homer was chasing the balls!!) They had a border collie doing frisbee tricks & weiner races---a bunch of little daschunds got to race down on the field! (lucky for them I'm not a weinie b/c I would've smoked them all, my alter-ego's name is FireBall!!!)
And then Dad & I got to talk sports. OHHHHH!!!! You're supposed to keep your eye on the BALL not eye on the BIRD
Gotcha!
My new home sure is FUN!!!!
Thanks Illinois Birdog Rescue!!!

Why doz do bee da' s-t-r-a-n-g-e-s-t dawgs I ever dun seen!!!

Why doz do bee da' s-t-r-a-n-g-e-s-t- dawgs I ever dun heard!

My mom says that the big ones are "sheep" and the little ones are "goats" (you knew I really wasn't fooled) and that they get groomed kind of like brother-poodle for some kind of thing called 4H --- who would've ever thunk that I could find something more interesting than BIRDS to watch!!!! Not THAT's somethin'!!
