So the Nebraska Humane Society had this fund-raiser where the dogs got to swim in an actual Omaha Public Swimming Pool!!!! $5/dog!!! So MY ridiculous mother said, "hey that sounds like a GREAT idea!!! Let's go & swim with the dogs" (I don't recall taking a group vote)
Oh GOD! OH GOD! OH GOD! OH GOD! OH GOD! OH GOD!
The stupid poodle made it look easy. Unbelievable--he looks like such a sissy-wimp with all his fifi haircuts & painted nails (he's a BOY) there he went, jumpin' on in after the kids & looking like a total swim-jock. (jerk)
Ahhhhh, the baby pool, now THIS is more my speed! Look! I can touch! This kind of pool-time I can handle, thanks 'bussy'!
But sure enough, I finally got the hang of it & look @ me!! I was swimming around & following mom! My splashes were less too!! It was hard work, I'm not gonna' lie I was doing eyelid checks 10 blocks from the pool & sawin' logs b/4 we got out of Omaha! ;o)Thanks Illinois Birdog Rescue!!
