Howwwl-a-Ween!

Happy Howl-a-ween!! Trick or Treating isn't j-u-s-t for the 2-legged kids, we made it a family affair!
We were: an alien, a pirate, Donavin McNabb--when he was an Eagle, & a Scarecrow (Hey, Lisa--didn't we have a conversation last year about how this should somehow be a violation of the adoption agreement?? She done did it to me AGAIN this year!! Are you taking notes?!?)

Some of the houses were REALLY done up, this one had talking & blinking doorknockers on the gate, but I was a brave pooch & me & Mac sat politely on the sidewalk while the kids rang the doorbell.

We walked past spiders bigger than us, & that yellow one turned it's head back & forth. I wasn't scared of a thing, not even the gorilla who was handing out bananas! (but there was a little girl dressed as a big fairy who ran past & I got really excited about her wings)

The kids said I "belonged" at this house because of all the scarecrows on the porch! And a little old lady dressed as a Yankee player didn't realize Mac & I were dogs until we were leaving, guess she thought we were just small children ;o) We got lots of comments, & "what good dogs" but no candy, lucky for us mom brought along dog cookies from home!

And then we headed home where we looked @ the Jack-o-Lantern display next door. 300 pumpkins got carved last week & lots and lots of people came from all over Nebraska & Iowa to come see! It was a GREAT Halloween! Hope yours was too!
